iSafe will keep you updated about your network connected assets

Once an asset is discovered on the network, an inventory snapshot will be updated at scheduled times of the day. The administrator is able to track and report on changes.

Comprehensive hardware interrogation

iSafe uses an intelligent, non-obtrusive scanning algorithm to extract a complete hardware snapshot of the device. The information snapshot contains unique information such as physical & logical CPU count, number of hard disk drives installed, and much more. Other value added services can now be derived from this information, such as matching serial numbers to leased devices, or integrating with a lease system to obtain rental data.

Antivirus and hotfix detection

Part of a complete snapshot of a device, is what the security status of that devices is. An antivirus is probably one of the most crucial pieces of software to help secure an environment. iSafe detects what the patch level of the operating system is (hotfix), as well as what antivirus is installed and what the definition file date is. This information helps to understand what the risks are in the environment.

Software usage monitoring

Once iSafe is deployed, it will monitor what applications are used. This gives the administrator the ability to monitor and report what software is installed and what is being used. With this information, licence costs and entitlements are properly managed.

SNMP Devices

iSafe will scan a network range for SNMP devices. Basic information as well as manufacturer specific MIB's may be held and reported.

Retrieving information fast and easy is the key to any successful inventory system. iSafe is shipped standard with predefined reports that should cover most information requirements.

Excellent scalability

One of the unique features of iSafe is the deployment scalability. Deployment across multiple areas or countries can be mapped out with a ‘parent-child’ server structure. This structure will allow the regions to manage their own information in a secure manner, with only the HQ or parent server being able to have a ‘global’ view of information of all countries or regions. Data from the ‘child’ servers is automatically uploaded to the ‘parent’ server at scheduled times.

Information available via your browser

All information is accessible through the iSafe web interface. From here live reports can be requested at anytime. This includes custom as well as predefined reports.
