From specialist developer to complete platform.
Founded
Prosol's roots reach back to 1986, when the company was established as a specialist software development firm. The early focus was on payroll and human capital systems industries where precision and reliability were non-negotiable. MultiValue databases were the platform of choice, and deep expertise in that environment was built from day one.
i-Con launched
The i-Con enterprise service bus was introduced a platform designed to connect systems that were never designed to communicate. For organisations with MultiValue at their core, i-Con addressed the growing challenge of integration with modern applications, ERP systems, and cloud services. Two decades later, i-Con remains in production across banking, insurance, HR, and retail environments worldwide.
The modernisation suite takes shape
Over the course of the decade, Prosol developed and refined the products that would form the complete modernisation platform: MVsharp for database conversion and code transpilation, MVsync for real-time data replication, and MVrest for API enablement. Each product addressed a distinct layer of the legacy modernisation challenge and together they represented something no single competitor could offer.
Integration capabilities unified
The integration capabilities were brought into the same organisational structure as the modernisation tools, creating the foundation for a single, unified platform offering. Clients no longer needed to manage separate relationships for database conversion and enterprise integration both came from one team, under one contract.
North American expansion
Prosol entered the North American market through a partnership with RDM Infinity, extending MVsharp and the full platform to MultiValue organisations across the United States. The partnership brought together Prosol's 40 years of MultiValue expertise with RDM Infinity's deep custom software development capabilities and US market knowledge.

The legacy brands were unified under a single name: Prosol. One company, one platform, one contract. The merger formalised what had been true in practice for years the modernisation tools and the integration platform are more powerful together than apart. Prosol now operates across 13+ countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.

Prosol was founded in South Africa and has grown into a platform operating across four continents with deep in-country experience in some of the most complex MultiValue environments in the world.
Sub-Saharan Africa
The foundation of the business. Clients across banking, insurance, retail, and government. 13+ countries served from South Africa.
North Africa & Middle East
Established deployments in banking and insurance sectors, with i-Con and MVsharp as the primary products.
Asia
Active operations including a presence in Beijing, China, extending Prosol's reach into Asian financial and enterprise markets.
North America
Launched in 2024 through the RDM Infinity partnership. Targeting the significant MultiValue install base across US banking, insurance, and enterprise software.
